Online Real-Time Diagnosis for Beam Pumping Well (ORTD-BPW) is a web application developed for oil fields, in which only a small fraction of wells equipped with metering device, enable precise production rate metering for each well. In addition, there is substantial workload if performing diagnosis manually in these oil fields. ORTD-BPW is able to calculate downhole dynacard at different depth from surface dynacard by utilizing wave equation and to identify well working conditions accurately and quickly based upon neural network technology. Also, ORTD-BPW can calculate important parameters, such as pump infilling degree, oil production rate and dynamic liquid level. ORTD-BPW can be used to help engineers to monitor beam pumping well production behavior and find out well failures instantly and accurately in order to ensure stable production by taking corresponding adjustment measures.
